An Introduction

Please allow me to introduce myself. 

I am a Canadian living in Oklahoma.

What a simple and one-dimensional way of describing myself... Here's a bit more...

I live with my husband, Scott:

We've been married for 5 years this October.  We also live with a (some would say, neurotic) dog named Milhouse:

This photo was taken after we brought him home from being boarded.  And groomed.  So he is clean and happy to be home. He has not decided to tear his lovely new bandana into shreds. Yet.

Milhouse, Scott and I share the house with Bantha.  She is our 13 year old cat.

I'm surprised she is actually looking at the camera here.  I have so many pictures of the back of her head.

Anyway, we live just outside of Tulsa in Oklahoma.  We moved here in 2005 from Oklahoma City.  Scott lived in OKC when I met him.  I lived in London when we met.  But that is another story.

So I wanted to start writing out various adventures.  Some by me.  Some by my friends and family.  I find that real life really is so much stranger than fiction.  And certainly more entertaining than "reality" tv.  I also want to share links to my friends' sites as so many of them are extremely talented, funny and smart.  Plus there are a bunch of cool sites that I frequent.  You can see them here too.
