One with the Herd : Liz Mitten Ryan
Mother of six, grandmother of seven, Liz Mitten Ryan, artist, writer and horse breeder, and her architect husband Kevin Ryan, made a decision that would change their lives. They moved onto 320 secluded acres in the hills of the Nicola Valley, British Columbia, and built a solar home/barn, which they share with their family of horses.
Living in close proximity with the herd, and in seclusion from the rest of the world, opened the door to spiritual realms and mysteries that the horses revealed.
For Liz, worship in the wisdom of HORSE is a life-long fascination. She is dedicated to their understanding and their wisdom as great spiritual teachers.
The horses, living as they would in the wild, but with the benefit of loving and supportive humans, share their secrets through the concept of EQUINISITY: the gift of finding the unexpected and truly important perspective through the clear and almost 360-degree vision of the equine.
You can find out more about Liz, her workshops, books and DVDs, and the herd at her website www.lizmittenryan.com.
